About GiftApproved
Our editorial team
We research every product using real listing data, verified pricing and availability, customer review patterns, and side-by-side spec comparisons within each category. Every recommendation is checked against genuine alternatives at a similar price point before it's rated. We don't claim hands-on testing we haven't done — our picks are backed by thorough desk research, not personal use.
What we do
GiftApproved publishes independent gift guides and product reviews covering toys, gadgets, games, and standout gifts for every age and occasion. Every article is built around a clear recommendation — what to buy, what to skip, and who each product actually suits — rather than just restating manufacturer spec sheets.
How we pick products
We research current-generation products, compare them against alternatives in the same price band, and weigh build quality, features, performance, and value for money. Each guide ends with a clear verdict and who the product is best for — including real weaknesses, not just strengths — so you can make an informed decision either way. We do not publish numeric out-of-10 product scores.
How we make money
GiftApproved is supported by the Amazon Associates programme. When you buy a product after clicking one of our links, we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. This never affects which products we recommend or what we say about them — see our Privacy Policy for details on affiliate disclosure.
